Snap to guide offset turn off

Question

I find this feature so annoying, is it possible to turn this feature off?

I have lots of cut and paste to do and I seem to spend all my time realigning them. I can reduce it to 5 (by default) but I would love the option to turn this off.

Any ideas?

Not sure you mean the same as I understand. Snap to Guides is not turned on by default at all. And you first have to define guitdes. Everything is under the View menu. More information in this blog post:

Same with Snap to Grid....if you mean perhaps that feature?
