Software Simulation: Editing or Adjusting Captured Video or Individual Screen Content

Hi,

Is there a way that, after recording a software simulation, you can go back and fine tune the video animations or screen grabs that were automatically captured at the time of recording?

Articulate Storyline has the ability to go back and adjust slide animations or still screen grabs on a frame by frame basis, and despite looking hard with Captivate and researching on-line, I can't find a way within the software.

Any suggestions, hints or tips much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Simon

What do you mean by 'animation' on a 'static' slide, that seems to be a contraditction to me.

I suspect you are talking about a classic software simulation, not a video demo which has its own editor? I always recommend to replace the old FMR slide by cpvc slides, to be totally compatible with HTML output. In that case you have the full editor for that cpvc-slide.

Since I don't understand what you mean by animations on static slides (you can add them of course, but there are no animations automatically captured AFAIK) I cannot answer that question.
