Software Simulation not capturing the application

I can’t get Software Simulation or Video Demo to capture the selected screen no matter what browser I choose or screen I choose. It just captures the background of my computer on several slides. I am using Macbook Air. The Apple Team at Montefiore installed the app on my device, and they requested I reach out to Adobe. This work fine on a Dell laptop.

 

I am using Mac Air and I am on Big Sur

    Some versions of Adobe Captivate 2019 are not compatible with Big Sur. Therefore, I recommend that your IT department download and install version 11.8, the most up-to-date version presently available. 11.8 is the same version downloaded when new users get the trial edition from Adobe's website. Once you log in, the Adobe servers should activate it under your license.
