Software Simulation of a Web-based application

Question

I am testing Adobe Captivate in trial version. One of our main goal, is to create interactive eLearning for our products which are all web-based. When recording the screens with Captivate, it doesnt recognize the labels / naming convention of our system.

It a Java supported system and therefore i switched on the Java access bridge in the hope that captivate would be able to support this. Any tips, as it doesnt work for me

With some apps there's no real way to automate the process because they don't use naming conventions for screen objects that captivate recognises.

You can still capture screens but you have to manually adding the captions or other objects you need later when you can edit the simulation in Captivate's Edit mode.
