sound scratches in published video

Hello,

All my videos published by Captivate 9 have little sound scratches all along...

My projects are correct in preview modes.

I tried to change publish settings, but I found those scratches in all published videos (formats : Apple Ipad, Youtube HD)
Anybody can help ?
Many thanks in advance,

Bruno

    Hey bruno,

The only thing I can think of is there is something about your audio set up ( Mic, pre amp, etc) that Captivate has an issue with. Personally I always narrate into Audition and then bring the file into Captivate, or you might want to try sending the file to Audition and saving it there and see if it makes any difference.

    Best of luck!

This is usually an issue due to sound card drivers on your computer and updating the drivers often gets rid of the issues.

Even if you imported perfectly recorded audio files and used them, if your sound drivers are wonky you could still get these glitches.

Did you record the audio as well on this computer or did you receive the files from elsewhere?

Our drivers are ok and we don't have any problems with sound and video files when working on Cubase, Ableton Live or Final Cut Pro (we are a sound and video professional studio).
All the sound files were recorded directly in the Captivate slides.
When previewing the projects, there's no problem.
And I don't have this problem in Adobe Presenter Video Express when I'm publishing videos.

I would recommend to record audio in Audition or similar audio application, not in Captivate in that case.
