Hi All, Using Captivate 9 in work. Doing user videos. I've made 1 or 2 with a music file I had. I am seeking a good site which provides good quality background music to compliment the user videos. I will be doing voiceover and know that the impact of too much music can have but need a steer to a good site please.

Thanks All.

Hi folks. Thanks for the quick feedback and advice. I'll be sure to check out the sites. I'll also be very mindful of the music I use as it's going to be shown to the public. Obviously, taking music and not acknowledging the composer is not on. The terms of the share of music will be my first port of call after sourcing a good tune.

    Thanks all.

There are many sources for free music but remember there are rules over how music under creative commons can be used. Here are some links but make sure you use the music as instructed by the original artist.

One other idea is to make your own music as well. If you have an iOS device use Garageband to mix some samples together and create your own composition. This way you don't have to pay for music, you get something that sounds like what you had in mind, and you don't have to worry about copyright violation. I've used this method for at least two of my projects in the last year. Here is a composition I did for my last project. You are welcome to use it if you like.

Keep in mind that YouTube itself offers music!

Correct, however, it is an exclusive license based on using the music in YouTube videos. If you use the music outside of YouTube you are violating their terms of service.
