Does anyone know if Captivate 8 will let me put powers and fractions onto the page? I am trying to insert A² + B² = C² and ⅝  but Captivate doesn't recognize these characters. Any suggestions?

Try inserting the ASCII codes (after looking them up for the characters you want of course), on a PC its ALT then 0 then the code (can't remember how to do it on a Mac) or copy and paste from a character lookup program. I was able to insert ⅝ into CP no problem.

As for the square symbol put A2 then select the 2 and make it superscript

I understand that there are some character editors, but the ones I've seen just produce an image to import.

I've just used PhotoShop to create a .png for import into the Cp file.

MathMagic is included with Captivate since version?? You can create complicated formulas, but they end up being an image.

Thank you. I will look for that.
