Splicing video/movie DVDs using Captivate 5

I was handed a video/movie DVD, with sound, and asked to splice into 15 minute intervals. How do I do so and rename each 15 minute interval so I can have our web team post each on our internal site?

AFAIK, you cannot split a video into multiple parts and export the parts in Adobe Media Encoder.

Have you tried Windows Movie Maker or Avidemux for this? I am sure there will be plenty of other video splitters out there.

The other option if you have it is Premiere Pro from Adobe.
