Hello

I am using adobe captivate 9 and need to split a simulation slide so I can delete the part that I don’t want. If there is no such feature in Adobe Captivate 9, is there a version that has it?

Is this simulation slide a static slide or a FMR slide. FMR stands for Full Motion Recording. You'll recognize a FMR slide because it has a blue line in the center of the slide timeline, and there is an indicator (videocamera) in the Filmstrip.

Nothing has changed in the Software Sim workflow in CP2017/2019.

Some slides are static others are FMR. The slide that I am trying to split seams to be static. How can I make all my slides FMR?

What a weird request? I try to avoid FMR slides whenever possible because there is almost no editing possibility and they don't show well in HTML output. I always repalce them with cpvc slides.  I presume it is a Software simulation in Demo mode, not interactive?

Can you insert a screenshot of the timeline of a static slide, and tell me what you want to change? It may be easier to explain on such an example, believe you are very new to Captivate?

For a FMR slide look in the Properties panel, you can trim.
