Standard Buttons, ETC

Hi,


I have multiple people working on the same project, and I need to have a standard for button size, color, font, etc. Is master slide the best way to share these defaults? Thanks.

    Master slides can help, but you need more to have all the same Object Styles and Preferences. Both can be exported and imported or you could have them setup in a Template that also can have master slides to use for slides with common objects. Are you talking about one project, or about different projects? If object styles and preferences are imported before opening any project, they will be set for all future projects.

    We are all working on different modules of the same project. Some of us have already recorded demos, and now need to add captions, buttons, etc. So, can I send preferences to someone and have them applied to all new items added to a captivate file that has already begun?

    I think that you'll have to send the Object styles first of all, Preferences secondary. Too bad that you didn't ask this before starting the project, it would have been easier to send a template with the Object Styles, Preferences, master slides all setup. Now it depends on what is already created. You speak about the recorded demos, which means that already captions have been inserted and will have to be perhaps 'restyled'.
