State view - Broken?

Hi,

I was working with smartshapes as buttons for a custom TOC. It all worked fine, but now every time I go to state view to change the visited state, it changes the normal view as well, when I save the changes to the style.

Worse, when go to apply the style to other buttons, it doesn't change. I open the state view and the colors are different. I also apply a different style and then the style I want, think that maybe it needs a "reset" or something. But it doesn't work.

TIA

Robi

    Hi,

    Thank you for your reply.

I am in CP2017. The visited state shows up as a inbuilt state when I click "create new state". It works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't.

Do you recommend me to create a new custom state? I need it so I can apply an advanced action to show it as already visited in the TOC.

    Thanks

Visited state works fine, you don't need an advaned action at all. Once the button has been clicked that Visited state appears. If you want to keep the state when returning to the slide, you need to check the option 'Retain State....4.

I didn't have the problem you described myself. Which theme do you use? If it is a custom theme, was it created in this version or is it upgraded?

    Hi,

I used an advanced action to change the state. I'll check retain state. It was just a blank theme

    Thank you.

Are you on CP2017? In that case the Visited state at this moment is not part of the style (bug?). If you are not on CP2017 and te Visited state is a custom state, did you use Duplicate state or New state to create it?
