States in Captivate 2019

Question

Is there a limited number of states allowed in Captivate (2019) ? I'm using a FasterCourse Template that came with a 6 slider slide; wanting to add a seventh slide, I added a state to the group; it does not shade pictures the same way in the added slide.  Meaning the original sliders have 3 pictures, only the center one is clear, the outer two are shaded to focus on teh selected one...  Thank you !!

Your first question can be answered. I have not yet seen a limit to the number of states, have created multistate objects (for games) with a lot more tha 7 states.

But for the rest, you'd better ask the people from which you got that template. Although I can answer most questions about the Quick Start Projects packaged with Captivate 11.5, you cannot expect other users to know about all third-party 'templates' (probably wrong term, will not be a cptl file which is a template file in Captivate)
