Static buttons in fluid boxes resizing

Question

Hi! I'm building a responsive program. I have some buttons I want to stack (the button that shows is depended on what the learner chooses). I did what I saw in YouTube videos to make the fluid box "Static" so I can place the buttons where I want them. When I preview the training and I change to a phone screen size, all buttons are the correc size except those in the fluid boxes that are marked "Static". Any ideas of what I'm doing wrong?

A static fluid box means that you lose a lot of the 'fluidity'. If you could show a screenshot of what mean by 'correct size'?

Can you explain what you mean by 'button that shows depends on what the learner chooses'? Maybe it can be done with one button where you put a variable as label?
