Stop effects from scaling

Whenever I change the timing of an object in the timeline, if that object has an effect applied, the effect also changes its timing. Is there a way to change the timing of an object independently of its effects? I want the time duration of the effects to stay as originally set, and not change when I change the timing of an object on the slide.

    Hi Jay,

No way for the moment. You are not the only one to find this very annoying, so please file a feature request to be able to choose between relative and absolute timing for effects when applied to objects with different durations. It will bother you even more when you should use Apply Effect in an advanced action.

    Lilybiri,

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I'll file a feature request as you suggested.
