Strange publishing error in captivate 5. Help!

I created a project in captivate 5 and then published an .exe of it, now I am able to view that exe file on my pc but when I try to open the same file on other pc, its giving me the above error. In the publishing option I tried using both flash player 9/10 still the same error. (The other pc has flash 9 installed on it.)


This did`nt happen with captivate 4, the exe published with captivate 4 was playable in other pc`s too.

Help!

P.S Is there a way to open the captivate 5 project file (.cptx) on captivate 4?

Hello,

Sorry, cannot help you with the real question. Only popped in to tell you that there is no backwards compatibility, it is not possible to open a CPTX-file in CP4.

Thanks for the link but that software is installed on the system which I want to run that exe file, but still its giving that error.

I really, really need help regarding this.

Due to this problem the project which I created in captivate 5, I have to redo the whole thing in captivate 4 again

Also in captivate 5 they removed avi video output. Now if I want a captivate published file in wmv format which can be played on windows media player, how can I do that?

Facing all these problems is kind of changing my opinion on captivate 5.

Captivate 4 had bugs and was slow, but did`nt had these problems.
