Is there a way to stream video through Captivate 5 that is not in the FLV format? For example WMV video.

No. You would need to convert the video to FLV/F4V prior to importing into Captivate. You can use the Adobe Media Encoder (installed along with Captivate 5) for this.

I was afraid that would be the answer. That forces me to convert a 100+ hours of video to flv.

I would suggest you convert to f4v, which can produce a smaller file.
