StretchFromLeft effect does not work in HTML5 preview

Hi there,

I am using Captivate 2017 and would like to use the Stretch effects.

I am using it with a smart shape line. It works well when previewing the Flash version, but would not work when previewing in HTML5 and when deploying on the LMS.

I thought that it should work? In any case, there is no notification when I check the HTML 5 Tracker.

Thank you in advance for your ideas.

Bobby

It should work indeed, but my experience tells me that the effects in HTML5 not always show up the way they show in SWF output. I have logged this several times as a bug. Moreover, line objects are not really well supported. You don't tell if you are working in a responsive or a normal project, but it is one of the objects that is not supported with Fluid Boxes.

Hi Lieve, thank you for your usual kind reply.

The project is not responsive.

It is a real bummer that these don't work. It makes such a difference.

Anyway, at least I know I am not missing something

Thank you

B

Just a tip, I didn't double-check: could you try with a rectangular shape with a very small height (4px is minimum I think)? It could maybe work with that shape.
