Question

Stuck on a grey slide while navigating in a published swf

Hello,

I created a project with 300 slides (swf ~ 7MB) and some buttons to navigate within these slides under Creative 5. When I want to "jump" over a large number of slides just after launching the swf file I get stuck on a grey slide for a while; then as soon as I have already navigated through this slide once, the same jump is now immediate.

I have tried to delete all the slides between the slide with the buttons and the target slide and now the navigation is fluent right from the begining.

I have looked on the forum but I didn't find any help to my problem. Is it because of the pretty large number of slides or did I miss something ?

Thanks in advance for any help !

E.

    Hi,

My guess is that your content is heavy and Flash Player is taking time to load it.

Try increasing the preload percentage in Preferences->Project->Start and End.

Nope, mine is already set to 100% since it is such a large file.

I'm having the same issue.  The slide plays my sound but no other interactions plays.  I can't even navigate. It's like it has become frozen.  When it does start playing its out of alignment with everything else.  If I jump to another slide after it is unfrozen and come back even with the jump to button it will then work.
