Student Teacher Edition and updating to Captivate 2017

I am a Teacher who develops content for online courses.  I just purchased the student/teacher version of Captivate 9 on January 11, 2017. Now, there is already a new version, and I've barely had this one for three months. Since I just purchased the program, is there any special pricing available to upgrade? (I paid for this out of my own pocket).

Here is where you can check if you are eligible for a complimentary license upgrade.

I have been a teacher and bought Captivate also at those conditions in the past. I'm not totally sure if this is still the case, but t there was no upgrade price available for a teacher/student license, you always had to buy a new version.

That was three months ago. My understanding is that if a new version is released within 28 days of you purchasing a previous version you would be entitled to get the new version at no additional cost to you. But here isn't the place to ask. This is primarily a user forum.
