Stuttering audio in Captivate 8

I am using Captivate 8.0.1.242 and have imported a ppt presentation, imported audio into each individual slide, added smart art to some slides. This process went well. The audio and smart art were all well synchronized on each slide and audio was clear, without issues when EACH slide was played.

I publish to my hard drive as a .mp4 video file. This takes about 15 minutes for a 25 slide presentation. Not bad.

When I play this .mp4 slide in Windows media player I get stuttering or echoing audio on some slides. The smart art eventually loses sync and even transitions to the next slide goes wrong.

This happened when I initially started the project but republishing a second time fixed the issue.

Today the issue resurface after editing and adding some audio to two slide. Republishing and/or changing project settings haven't fixed the audio stuttering/echoing.

Right now I have project setting of HIGH, fps=30.

This is not a bandwidth issue as I am publishing and replaying via my hard drive NOT over the Internet.

Has anyone experienced this?

Is there a repeatable solution?
