Submit button doesn't work?

I am using Captivate 8. I created a text entry box and uploaded it to a test server.

When I fill out my name in the text entry box the submit box does nothing.

Is this merely supposed to go to the next slide or is there more to it?

Is the TEB validated or not? If it is not validated, the action defined as Success will be executed when clicking the Submit button.

Validating TEB it something new to me. Care to elaborate?

After viewing my TEB Properties I see that it is NOT validated.

Is this validation linked to the variables I have made for the third party email widget?

The only variable used by the TEB is the one you defined in its Properties.

Look under the Actions tab for the Action On Success.
