SVG not displaying in Published output

I have a simple SVG included in my project, that is included on a couple of slides. The file displays when i do a preview in Adobe Edge Inspect, however when I do a final publish for devices, and save to our server, the SVG does not display on the slides. It seems there is a placeholder on the slide where it should be displaying, but it is not visible. I am using Captivate 9.0.2.421 and a responsive project. Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be going on? Thanks for any help!

After a little more troubleshooting, I think I have it solved. Earlier today, we had an issue with files published opening directly from their URL, however they worked fine when opening them locally direct through Windows Explorer. It turned out we needed to add the .json extension to our server's serve-able files. I experienced the exact same issue now when opening the published project via URL and locally. I have asked our IT department to add the .svg extension to the same list. I'll update again if this was not the issue.
