.swf Compilation Error for Mac Users

Cp 9 with Hot Fix Installed

OSX 10.10.5 Yosemite

When I preview project in anything other than HTML5 in Browser for a blank project, I receive a .swf compilation error.  Please see the image.

Hi there,

Seems like you have replaced the 'sdk' folder during hotfix installation instead of replacing the files present inside it.

Please do the following:

 

  1. un-install Captivate 9 and delete "Adobe Captivate 9” under /Application folder.
  2. Install Captivate 9 GM build.
  3. Launch Captivate 9,Try publish to swf
  4. Publish should work fine.
  5. Install the HotFix. Make sure you just Copy Paste Files in the respective folders as mentioned in Cp9 HotFix KB article.(Don’t Replace Folders)
  6. Launch Captivate 9 and let us know if you still see issue.
