SWF Compilation Failed

I've completed 4-5 training modules and I'm trying to export them as swf files to put them into Canvas but I keep getting an error. "SWF compilation failed. Note: Please verify if any of the actionscript keywords is used as user variable name." I've tried exporting other projects and even a blank project, with no luck.

Hello,

Welcome to Adobe Forums.

Are you working on a Windows Computer or a MAC ?

Which version of Adobe Captivate are you using ?

Does the Error comes when you publish a blank project ?

Did you try a different user account and publish your project ?

Thanks,

Vikram

7.0.1.237

Yes

Not sure what you mean about my user account? I was able to successfully

export swfs last week and it suddenly stopped. I am on the trial version

but like I said it worked last week.

Hello,

Is that MAC 10.9 or a different version ?

Please double check for any Java update (Click on Apple button -> Software Update) or (Click on Apple button -> About this MAC -> Software Update)

Let me know if this helps !!

Thanks,

Vikram
