Why am I getting this error response every time I try to preview or publish my project "Swf Compilation Failed Note: Please verify if any of the actionscript keywords is used as user variable name. I have asked and chatted and asked. I have re-installed Captivate 7 four times I have inserted the script "Use32Bit........." in the .ini file and it did not work. What is up with the Adobe Captivate 7 and why is there no Adobe person I can speak with. I need help!

This issue usually relates to something in your project which is tripping up the publishing process.  The fix is to create a copy of the project and use a process of elimination to find which slide or slides it is on and then remove the issue by either deleting the object or rebuilding that slide.  It might also be in one of your Advanced Actions or Variable names.  So if removing all slides still wouldn't fix it then you can try removing Advanced Actions one by one to see if that fixes it.

Either way, you CAN usually fix this.

    Rod,

I have this issue, but it only appeared when someone else tried to publish my course. I have six videos in my course that, when selected to publish both SWF and HTML5, the videos will not play. They play when HTML5 only is selected.

I need the output to be both SWF and HTML5. I'm trying to troubleshoot every solution I've found on here but the videos will not play.
