Swiping to bypass content

Hi, Community.
Our training content is required (not here to discuss the merits of forced nav) and I set up the modules to require viewing of all slides/videos and completion of activities; however, it was recently brought to my attention that mobile users are able to "swipe left" essentially bypassing all module content. This is happening on both Apple and Android, but NOT on a touch-screen laptop (which makes me feel it is a mobile issue). Of course no issues on desktop. Unfortunately the majority of our users will take training on their phones, and there are always people who manage to find the shortcut. Has anyone experienced this, and is there a solution to this issue? I also have a call out to support through my LMS, but haven't heard back yet. Thank you for any advice!

    Hi, Astro!

I have not tried what you suggest, so the modules are currently sitting at the default setting for that particular tickbox. I will definitely give it a try right now to see if it resolves the issue. Thank you for your reply!

    Hi,

Have you tried disabling the "Allow Gesture Navigation" for each of the slides that you do not want them to be able to swipe past?

You can do this at a "Slide" or at the "Project" level i.e.

For a slide - look at the "Properties" tab and untick the checkbox

For the Project.  Click on Windows > Mobile Palette i.e.

    Again, untick the checkbox..

    Hi again, Astro.

I tried and it works for Apple users. Android appears to still be able to swipe. Any thoughts on that?
