Switching allowed quiz attempts from 2 to 1

When creating multiple choice questions, the default in Captivate 8 is one attempt.  I switched to allowing two attempts only to find that my SME would like for users to only have one attempt.  Upon switching the quiz questions back to allowing only one attempt, the feedback for incorrect responses disappears, even though it was there initially with a default question that had one attempt. Any ideas as to how to retrieve the incorrect answer feedback?
