Tab widget is causing my Next Button smart shape not to function

I'm using Captivate 2017 with Fluid Boxes on a responsive project. I have a fluid box that contains my next button smart shape and on every slide it works perfect. But I added a tabbed button widget (#2) to my slide and my next button no longer functions properly. When I removed the widget the Next Button functioned properly. Added it back in and it no longer works. My previous slide button worked throughout the process, i.e. I could go backwards with the widget on the slide. What would cause this button to not function properly with the widget?
