Technical Communication Suite upgrade to Captivate 9 issues.

I can't figure out for the life of me how to upgrade to Captivate 9.  The FAQ is less than helpful.  It just says log into my account.  Where do I need to go?  This would be much simpler if it was available in the same way my Creative Cloud apps are.  I'm not asking this without a lot of hours wasted since Captivate 9 was released trying to figure it out on my own.  The suite states the Captivate 9 upgrade is free with the subscription so please fix your website or do something to make this more intuitive rather than hiding stuff from paying customers.  Should I try downloading the free trial and signing in maybe?  This is absurd.  Ugh.

    Hello,

    Welcome to Adobe Forums,

It seems that you are using subscription for Adobe Technical Communication suite.

In order to upgrade the version of Adobe Captivate to 9 , you need to download the trial version of the Technical Communication suite and then activate it using your Adobe Id and password.

    Hope this answers your query

Do you have a subscription or a full license? I am asking this because I see you are using the TCS.

If you have a subscription to Adobe Captivate, install the trial version. When logging in with your Adobe ID it should be recognized. However, if there is a TCS subscription (sorry, I am not following TCS anymore, unaware if there is even a subscription license), wouldn't it be better to ask in that forum if the same work flow is required?

BTW, this is a user forum. I am just a user, not an Adobe employee. Maybe you think this is staffed by Adobe people? It happens that some engineers pop in, because they are so kind to do so but it is not certain at all.
