Text animation not working

Hello,

I'm creating a Captivate movie with 12 movie slides, each slide consists of a Text animation header, SWF animation movie that was a screen recording made in Camtasia before we switched to Captivate. I have the text animation header setting to "end of slide" and the SWF movie "to end of slide", The problem I'm having is that the text animation is not letting all the letters in the text headers appear or finish, for example "Data Prod" is only shown when is should say "Data Production". Also my SWF movies do not show a playback skin, so there is no controllers. I found that I can only attach it to the FLV movies import but not the SWF movie import. So how do I add this? If you need to see the sample what I'm talking about go to this link. http://www.atwoodsystems.com/jniles/mov061307/qmpintro.htm
You may email me as well at jennifer@atwoodsystems.com
Thank you!

    Hi Jen

Okay, I downloaded and took a look at your project. Whew. Slow load time!

What appears to be happening is that you have a couple of buttons on the page. One labeled "Back" and another labeled "Next".

I'll be willing to bet $1 against a doughnut that your buttons are pausing the slide before the animation has had a chance to fully complete.

Take a close look at your Timeline for these slides. You should see layers where you have inserted either Click Boxes or Buttons. Note where the pause points are. For a Button, the pause is normally in the middle. For example, if the button is timed for 3 seconds, the pause normally occurs at 1.5 seconds. For Click Boxes, the pause doesn't occur until the end of the time it is on the screen.

The bottom line is that you probalby just need to configure these objects to wait longer before pausing. This will then allow enough time for your animations to complete.

    Hopefully this helps... Rick
