Text Boxes Versus Text Inside Shapes Versus Something else

I've been using text caption objects to insert static text.  Small paragraphs of narrative I want my student to read. No actions. Just useful sentences to be assimilated.

Are there any advantages to using this text caption object versus shapes versus something else in Captivate?

    I think you did see my explanation (another thread) about differences between captions and shapes as text containers? Personally I find shapes more flexible, but that is just an opinion. If necessary they can easily be converted to be clickable, to act as an interactive object as well.

    Other way to display text is the Scrolling Text Interaction, where users can add text as well.
