Text disappeared from project after re-opening

Please help me!

I have re-opened my Captivate project after saving it yesterday and shutting down. This morning all of the text has disappeared.

I can see the text in the filmstrip, but it does not appear on the main screen. When I click on the area that would hold the text, the text re-appears, however it does not show when previewing or publishing out.

Has anyone had this issue before?

    Look in the subfolder Utils under the Captivate installation folder and run the CleanPreferences file that is proper for your OS. Captivate has to be closed. You will lose all customisation, to preserve some of them have a look at;

    Save and close all currently open Captivate project files.  (Make sure backups are turned on in Preferences and ensure you have a backup file created for each CPTX you are currently working on.)  Then under Edit > Preferences > click the Clear Cache button.

    Reboot Captivate and see whether the issue is resolved.

    Thanks Rod, unfortunately this didn't work. Any other suggestions?

    You can try killing the Preferences folder.
