Text entry box not reporting

For some reason my text entry boxs doesn't  seem to report back to our lrs the multiple choice questions  work fine. Also the report to quiz option is greyed out. Please help im drowning here.

Which version do you use? Can you check Advanced Interaction panel(F9) to

see if its score is included in total score.

The latest version 8.1 and i have checked the advanced interaction panel im try trying to send the users input back to the lrs.

Sounds like you haven't turned on Validation for the Text Entry Box.  Without validation it cannot evaluate what is entered into the box as either correct or incorrect, and without a correct answer no score can be given for Success.
