text entry box with numeric shortcut key not working

hi, i am having a problem with several text entry boxes that are set up with a numeric as a shortcut key. for example, user should type the value 130 and the 0 (zero) digit is the shortcut, so when they type the zero of 130, should validate the text and move to next slide. the only way i can get it to correctly validate and move to next slide is if NUMLOCK key is on and i use the keypad to type the 0. this is a cp 4 project that i converted to cp 5.5 and the issue is happening with a very small number of text boxes - many other text boxes in the project are set the same way and working fine (no numlock required, can enter the number using the regular keypad entry). any thoughts/help/suggestions would be appreciated.
