Text Entry Box workaround? (Captivate 2)

I'm creating a text entry box that requires a numeric entry. Students can use either the number row across the top of the keyboard or the keypad keys. The last digit is the shortcut key. Using 20 as an example of a correct entry, my text box has a current shortcut of 0 and Include Numeric Keypad Keys is selected. Captivate does not see the keypad 0 as the shortcut, so I've added a small click box in an obscure place with Numpad 0 as the shortcut key. This raises the problem of users typing just a numpad 0, not 20, and having the screen advance, but I'm not too concerned about that. What concerns me is scoring. Even though I'm not scoring yet, I may have to in the future. As it looks now, my text entry box and the click box will cancel each other out, scoring-wise. Is what I'm doing the best way to have a number as the shortcut, whether it's typed from the number row or keypad?

Thanks for reading and for any suggestions you may have.

Philip

So it works the opposite of what the help says. "Include numeric keypad (0-9) keys Select this option to include the numeric keypad keys as part of the shortcut key combination."

    Thank you for your help.

I just tried a text entry box with 20 as the correct entry. If I set 0 as the shortcut key and do not check the box to Include Numeric keypad, then either 0 works fine. And if I type any number with a 0 in it other than 20, I get failure text. So it looks like it will work fine if you just don't check the box to include the numeric keypad.

    Hope this helps.
