Text Entry Boxes: How do I align the text

I'm not liking the certificaate widget in Captivate 5 so I decided to make my own landscaped certificate background image. I added all of the certificate text to the image so the only things users have to do when viewing the Captivate lesson is enter their name and date in text entry boxes. The problem I have is that I do not see a Format tab where I can align text like I can for Caption boxes. Right now names and dates entered using the Text Entry boxes are entered as left aligned while the background text on the certificate is centered.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

    Hello,

No alignment possibilities in a Text Entry Box, sorry. But why not replace it by the TextArea Widget? There you have all the formatting possibilities, and if necessary, can be associated to a variable.

Thank you so much for that quick and helpful reply! This looks like it will work perfectly but now I have a new question, how can I make the box nearly transparent? I want the users to still see the certificate background yet clearly see the fields for their name and date. I'm not experienced enough to know how to use the color codes in the widget formatting to set a nearly transparent color.

Thanks again you've helped me immensely already!

    Hello,

There is no alpha setting possible for fill in the TextArea widget, sorry. Do you have a unique color for the certificate background? Put that color into either the Stroke color or the Fill color in the Vertical Toolbox using the color picker (see screenshot, I highlighted the color picker in yellow). Than you can write down its hexadecimal code (or copy it) to use as Fill Color in the TextArea widget. In the screenshot it is #0080FF
