Text Entry Boxes v6

Question

I've just started using v6. I'm having problems with getting a TEB to work. I've created the TEB and selected the 'Validate User Input' option and I've put text into the Correct Entries field. When I play the slide and attempt to key text into the TEB, the Correct Entries box pops-up with the cursor, inside the field. Any solutions? JenU

Nimmy, I think you misunderstand the situation, sorry.

My intui!tion tells me that you previewed the slide, either with the Preview, Play Slide (F3) or with the Play button in the Timeline panel. You have to know, and this has been always a confusing situation, that this way of previewing is only meant to edit timing on the slide, it is not a real preview because there is no temporary SWF generated. If you want to preview really, use one of the other Preview options, like Project (F4), or from this slide (F8). The closest to the real situation is always Preview in Browser (F12).

With F3 it is only like manual scrubbing the timeline, so if you click on the TEB you get immediately back in Edit mode, and that is why you see the HUD with the correct answers appearing
