Text entry no functioning

I am trying to do a software simulation in Training mode. When previewing, instead of the user being able to type into the text entry box, what I typed automatically generates, as if it were a demo. I've scoured the forums without success. I am using Adobe Captivate 2019. Any help would be appreciated!

And if Windows, do you have any specific security software besides Windows Defender?

And do you run Captivate and Windows 10 as administrator?

There were issues in the early versions of CP2019 of that type with TEBs not being inserted.

Please check the full version number under Help, About Captivate. As Win user I am on 11.5.5.553 and have created recently Assessment simulations without issues.

I am using the most up-to-date version of Captivate in Mohave: 11.5.5.676

You may need to check your setup and capture again. Captivate allows you to capture multiple types of capture sessions at the same time.

If you only want training and hen you start setting up the capture, pay particular attention to whether you still had the Demo box clicked as well as Training. Your Preview might be defaulting to showing the Demo and not the Training project.

Thank you for your reply. I am not checking Demo. I am even going into Settings and changing it from Demonstration to Training. I am running the most up-do-date version: 11.5.5.676.

Any other ideas?
