Text Input Box

Is it true that Captivate's Text Input Boxes can't handle multi line text or the ability to adjust margins for the text?

I can't believe what I am using now to create this post has funtionality that Captivate can't produce.

Why would they intentionally limit text input functionality?

You can have multiline test in a Text Entry Box. I suppose you are pointing to that item? Turn on the scroll bar.

Formatting is limited. If you need a non-scored TEB you can use a Scrolling Text Interaction which has more formatting functionality.

Thanks for your reply. My issue was not selecting the scroll bar
option. The info I got from previous forums said that multi line is
not available for TEB's, I should have known better that this wasn't
    true.

Sorry for my rude post, it has been one of those fixes that slips past
unnoticed and has taken many hours to resolve.

I still have not been able to get validate user input to work but that
    is for another day.

One of the links explains the validation feature.
