Text leading in Cap 9?

Is there no way to increase the text leading in a paragraph? I am using a common font in a text block with several lines of text. The lines of text look crowded together. Is there any way to control the leading?  Maybe I'm just too used to InDesign...

Hoping someone has a suggestion.

Thanks,

Pete

Look in the Properties panel, Character part, for 'Spacing'. It is a bit strange, because it is in 'pt' and set to 1 (too low). You can increase by typing or by using up arrow (increment with 0,1; 1 is the font height). If you want it only for a part of the text, first select that text.

Thank you! That is what I was hoping for... you are correct, it is set too small as a default.  Even better, we can manipulate that property in the Object Style Manager!

I mostly set it to 1.2 or 1.3
