Text limitation in Accordion Learning Interaction

Is there a way to adjust the amount of text that you can enter into the Accordion learning interaction?   I'm not sure if its a limit to the number of lines or the amount of text.  Any help appreciated.

1096 characters (including spaces and carriage returns) is my largest for inclusion in the Accordion.

It is possible that there is a character limit, never used that type of interaction with very large texts. If you need really much text to include, wonder if such a learning interaction is the best way? You could link to a pdf with much text, could be formatted much better than in the accordion interaction, which would make it more pleasant to read.
