text not showing when I play the movie

I have put together a slide and done all the timing. When I hit the arrow button to preview the slide, everything plays fine. However, when i actually go to preview the movie, only the heading which at 0.0 sec and the first line at 1.5 seconds plays. The lines at 3.5 and 5.5 seconds won't appear on the screen and won't even show up at the end of the slide. Can anyone tell me how to make the text show in the movie?

    Thanks everyone! There was a pause on one of the buttons in the template that we are using and I never thought to look at that because it was the "template".

    Do you get the same results when you actually publish the file? Preview is a nice way to test, but i've noticed that it isn't always perfect. Besides, not like your client will ever see the preview.


    (i no longer use preview, i "publish" and then "view output" because i want to see what my end user will see not what craptivate sees)

    it still didn't show up the way it is supposed to. any other suggestions?

    Two suggestions based on trouble I've had. You may need to bring your text to the front. Sometimes that still doesn't work because something else has been brought to the front. So you may need to send something backwards. If that isn't the trouble, I have had problems with only part of the text appearing before and this is a glitch in the system. But, change the color of your text and change it back to what you want, and for some reason that corrected some trouble I was having. Hope this helps.
