Are you by any chance performing this in a corporate locked down IT environment? Is it possible that some corporate virus checking program is seeing this file coming down the line and disabling or deleting part of the download?
If so, can you try downloading the same file OUTSIDE your environment and then bringing it in on a USB chip or something to copy over to your PC?

I gave it another try. This time I copied the whole Add Ons folder from Captivate 5.5 into the Captivate 6 folder. And it actually worked. Kate and Paul are there.
