Question

Text to speech

I am using Captivate 8.

I have added text to speech to a slide.

The slide also contains rollover areas  (there are 5 of them)

I have generated text to speech data relating to all 5 of them and saved them in the library.

I want to add the audio to each of the rollovers. However, when I play the slide, all of the

audio plays at once.

Is there a way to write a script that will allow the slide audio to play and the rollovers to only play when

the user rolls over the area??

Thanks for your help.

Tricia

A rollover object has two parts.  The object and its hit area.  You've added the audio to the hit area by mistake.

Select the object on the timeline and remove the audio from that part.  Select the object on the SLIDE (this is the part that will appear at rollover) and add the audio to that part.
