Text to speech audio continues to play for all remaining slides - But current slide is paused on exit

Captivate 8.0.1.242 - Windows 7 - 64 bit - swf format.

I have this weird error. I have text to speech audio in my courses. I don't want to have the captivate playbar. Hence, I have buttons in the content to navigate forwards. Every slide is paused on exit and awaits for the user to click the navigate forwards buttons. My text to audio works for the first 2 slides. That is, it plays as in the timeline and then stops. Waits for the user to click forward button to go to the next slide and same routine. But after 2 slides, it wont stop. It continues to play all the text to audio of other slides in the entire cptx. But the current slide is paused. So I hear everything supposed to be played for other slides but all i see is one slide.

When I click on the next slide, it starts playing the audio from where it supposed to start for the current slide and again plays all the remaining text to audio of the remaining slides. This repeats again and again. Anyone have any idea why this is happening?

Correct answer Lilybiri

Check the timeline for the audio clips, increase the slide duration a little bit and make sure there is a small space before and after the clip.

Sorry wanted to add a screenshot, but that feature is disabled for the moment on this forum.

Aaahh that makes so much sense. All my audios are longer than 3 seconds (default slide time length) and slide time is expanded to the exact length of each slide. Let me check now and update.
