i working on a video where in i am using characters(insert tab> characters) available in captivate..when i publish these videos.. the characters appears blurr and distorted.. i haven't resized them at all.. and i have set enough duration in the timeline...and if i add more animations... the videos repeats some of the previous objects.. though the option for rest of slide for that particular object is not selected...i have selected force publish all slides option as well... but still these dont help...

my videos are nt that huge... just has around 15 slides per video...

and another concern is... i have around 6 modules and for each module... i have one video... now, i have one slide which has button  to open these  videos...i have inserted this video in a pdf.. the buttons dnt work.. it does nt start the other module video... i have used relative path and placed the PDF under the same path where the other module video output is saved...

Any help would be highly appreciated....

Which slide quality do you use? The characters need Optimized or High, not Low.

wow..this is wat i was looking for... thanks a lot... may be there should be a note or warning when a user insert characters that the slide quality should be changed... or may be its understood...i am new to it... so may be i dont know...

now... you have any idea how can i make the buttons work  inj PDF as explained in my question...

No, I'm not sure links works in an interactive PDF (it has SWF-player embedded).

The default slide quality since 6.1 is now Optimized, I have been pleading for that for reasons like what happened with you. If you use 24-bit graphics (maybe with transparent pixels), or want crisp text, it is logical that you cannot achieve that with 8-bit quality. But not every CP-user is knowledgeable about that kind of graphics stuff.
