The exam settings seem to randomly change from 3 tries per step to 1 try per step.

My question is about an especific setting of "software simulation exams" in Adobe Captivate.

I am developing software simulation exams with the following structure:

- The student has 3 chances per step (for example "click here" or "write the correct word").

- If a studend make 3 mistakes in the same Slide, he will be automatically redirected to the first project slide in order to start a new try.

The point is:

Once the student has been redirected to the first slide after making three mistakes in the same slide, the project settings seem to change automatically: When the student begins the exam again, he has only one or two tries per slide before being redirected to the first slide.

I don't know how to keep the original settings in all the retrys.

Please, I would be pleased if anyone could help me with this issue.
