Question

The score is always reported as 0% in LMS and SCORM Cloud

Hi, I am developing an e-learning project for a client, and encountered this problem.

Basically, the project contains no quizzes, but in order to track the progress,

I have put in a scored button at the end of every session.

Which means as long as the learner clicks on the button, he should score.

I have put 5 of such scored buttons, and published my project.

The completion criteria is set to score 100%, there is no pass/fail setting.

reportage is set to the percentage.

When I test it on Scorm Cloud, the following outcome will be shown.

(Do ignore the Japanese, it simply says e-learning course.)

When I viewed only one session of the course and clicked on the scored button at the end, the course sandbox reflects perfectly what I expected to turn out.

The completion is incomplete and the score is 3%.

However when I send the link to another user,

The reportage average score stays 0%, no matter how much contents she has viewed, as reflected in the bottom part of this screenshot.

My client is reporting the same problem. The client is using Oracle btw.

Could anyone kindly suggest any possible solutions to this?

Or any quiz settings that I should use in order to get the score reported?

Many thanks in advance.

Please show screenshots of your settings under Quiz > Reporting and Quiz > Pass or Fail.

Hi RodWard

These are the screenshots of my setting pages.

Did not attach them because my Captivate was in Japanese.

I am using the 2017 release.

Are these helpful?

I have tried to indicate the English align with the Japanese words.

(Not sure whether they are the accurate terms because I have not used the English version before.)

Thank you in advance again!

The reporting page.

The quiz setting page

The pass/fail option page

The settings appear fine, though I often find with some LMSs that you need to set the Status Representation to Incomplete -> Passed / Failed rather than as Incomplete->Complete as you have done.  But this would not affect SCORM Cloud.

Have you checked in the Project > Advanced Interaction dialog to make sure there are no other scored objects reporting to the quiz except the one right at the end of the module?  (If other objects are also scored then this would throw out your results.)
