Theme overrides all objects

Question

I created and saved a new theme.  When I imported it into another project which is a software simulation, it popped up in front of everything so I can't see anything but the mouse path.  I have no idea what to do.

Hi and welcome,Normally captured slides do use the Blank master slide, with the options 'Use Master slides background' and 'Master slide objects on top' unchecked and Project Background checked. The only way that you can have problems, is that the Blank Master slide has the option 'Show Main Master Slide Objects' checked AND you do have objects on the main master slide. The background of that main master slide doesn't matter, will be covered by the screenshots during capture, but the objects of the main master slide will be on top in that case.
