Three TEBs, link from 2nd to 3rd Not Working

I'm creating a tutorial video in Adobe Captivate 7 on how to use a specific software, for this one it's pretty basic, how to log in for first time and change your password from default.  I have a slide with a screenshot of dialogue box where you would input your old password and then your new one, and then confirm the new password.  I have the 1st TEB set to validate that they entered the correct default password and it Tabs down to 2nd TEB as a shortcut.  Then it gets tricky, there are no parameters for what to enter as their new password, so no verifying any correct input.  But I set up an Advanced Action where what they type in the 3rd TEB needs to equal what they typed in the 2nd TEB, to simulate the confirming of the new password, for them to move on to the next slide.  But after typing in the 2nd TEB it won't Tab down to the 3rd, even though I have it set up the same way as what makes it go from the 1st to the 2nd.  And when I preview it the slide will advance after the set amount of seconds without the proper input.  Been playing around with settings, and trying to find an online video tutorial with no luck.  It's driving me CRAZY!  Is there anyone who can give me any tips?  I am extremely new to using Adobe Captivate, I've been trying to teach it to myself for a new job.  I've picked up the basics, but finding it a little hard to learn the more advanced things.  Any help is appreciated.

The sequence is imposed, right? Can you post a screenshot of the timeline of that slide, and of your advanced action that is triggered by the third TEB?

What does it mean to have the sequence be imposed?  How would I know if it is or not?  I can try to do screenshots when I'm back at work, right now I'm at home.  Thank you both for trying to help me.

In sequence means that the user has to fill in the TEB's in that order, not in an order of his choice. Do you want to answer my questions?

Check your Tab Order via the button on the Properties tab when you have the slide selected in the filmstrip.

If you want the slide to remain paused while all this data entry is happening, then make sure none of the interactive objects (e.g. Text Entry Boxes) are set to Continue or Go to Next Slide.  Set them to either execute the Advanced Actions you're using to validate the data or else set them to No Action.

I have checked the order of the TEBs (and even deleted them and started over), and staggered the appearance of each TEB, but that's another weird thing.  I wanted to set the first one to appear at 0 sec, pause at 2 sec, 2nd one at 2 sec, pause at 4 sec., and then 3rd to appear at 4 sec. and pause at 6 sec., but although the whole slide is set to like 8 or 10 secs (I have played around with it), it won't let me change the 3rd one higher than 4 or 5.  I have them set to Pause, not No Action, what is the difference?  I have another slide with 2 TEBs, where I set them both to Pause and they work.  The only thing different about these three is the Advanced Actions TEB I have as the 3rd one.
